Not much too write about this week.  It wasn't the greatest week of my life.  I woke up sick on Wednesday and my host mom acted like I was dying.  She had a meeting that day, and she felt I was too sick to be left alone(all I had was a cold), so she forced me to go to my school, where I spent the day in the infirmary.   Then she insisted that I go to the hospital, but the school didn't want me to go, as it was unnecessary.  But my host mom wouldn't let me come home, as she wasn't coming home till late and she thought I could die or something, so both groups compromised and had me stay in Kirari (the international housing) for the night.  All I wanted to do was sleep and relax, but needless to say, I did not get much of that.  Plus, it was the day of the elementary school visit and the tea ceremony, both of which I missed.  And then it rained all week long due to a typhoon that was hitting  the rest of Japan.  Thankfully the storm didn't hit Hokkaido, but it gave us really crappy weather for a couple of days.  So my week has not been the greatest, but don't worry because it ends on a good note.  Today I finally made it to LoveNeko, Sapporo's one and only cat cafe!  Pretty much, you pay money to enter a  room full of cats that you can play with while enjoying a drink.  I haven't even petted an animal since I left home (my host mom is allergic), so I really miss my pets, especially my Siamese cat, Comet.  So this was really nice and really cheered me up.  There are about 15 cats in the room, and there is a bunch of furniture and cat toys, not to mention tons of shelves and scratching posts.  The cats all seem pretty happy and healthy, although some were fighting with each other(reminded me of Comet and Angel!).   They weren't too cuddly though, as they are so used to being petted and played with all day.  I guess the cat cafe should get some Siamese, that would solve that problem!  Since I missed the tea ceremony and the school, I don't have many pictures for you, but I can give you the ones from today.  Here are a few pictures of the cafe kitties!
